Please join us for another Drills and Skills session with Lynne this coming Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012.   The location and time is the same as before - the Jack Purcell Arena off Elgin (and Lewis) from 13:00-15:00h.

  $5 for the 2 hour session helps to cover the cost of the gym rental.

  Planning is underway for the 21st Annual Gay Ottawa Volleyball Tournament which we will be hosting on April 28th and 29th, 2012.  This year's theme is "Viva Las Volleyball" (a Vegas theme) and we are looking for volunteers who want to be in the show!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, are feeling refreshed and are ready to play some volleyball!

A few things to mention to start off the second half of the season.

Funny you should ask (and there have been a few of you).  The first night back for Monday play is Jan. 9 and for Wednesday it is Jan. 11. I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday with family and friends.  See you on the court!

  Hello everyone.  A quick email to remind everyone of upcoming events. 

  This Sunday is our last Drills 'n Skills session of 2011.  Once again it will be held at the Jack Purcell Arena this coming Sunday (Dec. 11) from 1-3 pm.   There is a $5 cost to cover the fee for the gym.  Lynne will once again be out imparting her vast knowledge of the sport to us little people.

To celebrate the recent installation of the Village signs, the Village organizers are back with everyone's favourite card game.  Join them at the Montgomery Branch Legion Hall in the upper hall on Thursday, December 8th at 7pm.  Bring the $20 entrance fee and enjoy a full evening of card playing.  Help raise funds for the Village and their awesome events and projects!

   There have been a number of items left in the gym and change room after volleyball on Monday and Wednesday nights - shoes, knee pads, water bottles, backpacks, and even a bike helmet!   If you would like to retrieve your items please contact Dan at dan.govleague@gmail.com to arrange to get  your things back.
